Thy Word Is Truth, Edward J. Young — Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co., Grand Rapids, Mich., U.S.A.

Here is an excellent volume on a most important subject, the divine Inspiration of the Bible. This is a book that common people can read and enjoy for it is written lucidly, logically, and forcefully.

The author exposes the so-called modern scientific (?) approach to the Bible. He explains what actually is meant by God-breathed Scriptures.

With marked ability, he distinguishes between revelation and inspiration and discusses the importance of the work of translation.

The remarks relative to the human writers of the Scriptures are par-excellent and should be read and reread by every evangelical Christian.

A careful perusal of the closing chapter will give a splended explanation of the apparent discrepancies found in the Scriptures.

The Seven Sayings Of The Saviour On The Cross, Arthur W. Pink — Bible Truth Depot, Swen-gel Pa. U.S.A.

Mr. Pink is at his best in this small work. His keen insight, his remarkable ability in the field of Bibical exposition, his loyalty to the Holy Scriptures, and his devotion to Christ all serve to unfold the hidden meaning of these words from the cross of Christ.

Each saying of the suffering Saviour is carefully examined in seven respective chapters.
