A Heritage of Ministry…
Paul and Timothy Loizeaux began their printing and publishing activities in the farming community of Vinton, Iowa, in 1876. Their tools were rudimentary: a hand press, several fonts of loose type, ink, and a small supply of paper. There was certainly no dream of a thriving commercial enterprise. It was merely the means of supplying the literature needs for their own ministries, with the hope that the Lord would grant a wider circulation. It wasn’t a business; it was a ministry.
Our Foundation Is the Word of God
We stand without embarrassment on the great fundamentals of the faith: the inspiration and authority of Scripture, the deity and spotless humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His atoning sacrifice and resurrection, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the unity of the church, the second coming of the Lord, and the eternal destinies of the saved and lost.
Our Mission Is to Help People Understand God’s Word
We are not in the entertainment business. We only publish books and computer software we believe will be of genuine help to God’s people, both through the faithful exposition of Scripture and practical application of its principles to contemporary need.
Faithfulness to the Word and consistency in what we publish have been hallmarks of Loizeaux through four generations. And that means when you see the name Loizeaux on the outside, you can trust what is on the inside. That is our promise to the Lord.. .and to you.
If Paul and Timothy were to visit us today they would still recognize the work they began in 1876. Because some very important things haven’t changed at all…this is still a ministry.
