This book is written in simplified English. It uses a list of 1000 words prepared by Mr. H. Dennett of England. The only other words used are common in the Revised Standard Version of the Bible.

Read a Psalm Every Day
You can read through the whole book of Psalms in six months. Just study one psalm every day. The list on page four will help you. The longer psalms take two or three days and the longest, Psalm 119, takes eight days.
When you have read the psalm for the day, study the notes which explain it. Do not believe the notes unless they teach the same as the Bible. You should look up every verse and try to understand what it means. Most of the words in the lesson are very easy. You may have to look up the meaning of a few of them.
You should do whatever God’s Word commands. Tell your friends what you have learned. This will bring a blessing to them and joy to yourself. More important still, it will bring joy to the Lord Jesus Christ.
