The subtitle of this pamphlet, A Call to Recovery, might well have been A Call to Repentance. The very appearance of the booklet intimates the great degree of declension from the simplicity toward Christ.
Brethren who have discerned the low spiritual condition among the assemblies of the saints have prepared this article. It is hoped that it may be read prayerfully and considered seriously in the presence of the Lord.
The evidences of departure are graciously indicated, and so also are the dangers of extremes and the injuries suffered by the evangelical testimony in many localities.
Because of the importances of this paper, we suggest that a number be purchased and distributed among responsible brethren, and among the Lord’s servants both at home and abroad.
