Hope is a keyword in the New Testament epistles and
it is one of the keys that opens the door to renewed living in our
daily Christian life. We are living in days when despair and fear are
becoming more and more an ingredient of daily life. The Christian is
very vulnerable to such attacks and the answer is often not in the
medicine cabinet but in the hope of the Holy Scriptures. Hope is a word
that has to do with the unseen and the future. Faith lays hold of the
hope that is revealed in the New Testament.
