Who Did Jesus Come to Save?

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all
acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save
sinners…. 1 Timothy
1:15

But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

For the Son of man is come to seek and to
save that which was lost. Luke 19:10

When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They
that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call
the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Mark 2:17

For when we were yet without strength, in due
time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6

What did Jesus
do to save them?

For I delivered unto you first of all that
which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the
scriptures;

Who his own self bare our sins in his own
body
on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by
whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

For Christ also hath once suffered for
sins
, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God…. 1 Peter 3:18

Even as the Son of man came not to be
ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Matthew 20:28

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to
be testified in due time. 1 Timothy 2:6

But now once in the end of the world hath he
appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.  Hebrews 9:26

How can they be
saved?

Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out…. Acts 3:19

For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. John 3:16

For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man
should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
thou shalt be saved, Acts 16:31

But these are written, that ye might believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God
; and that believing ye might have life
through his name. John 20:31
